“35-Year-Old Assam Father Dies of Cardiac Arrest While Collecting Son’s Result”

In a tragic incident that has left the local community in shock, a 35-year-old man collapsed and died of a heart attack inside his son’s school after going to collect his child’s kindergarten (KG) exam result.
The deceased has been identified as Dipankar Bordoloi, a resident of Sonari Gaon in Jorhat. Bordoloi, who worked as an Executive Engineer with Assam’s Irrigation Department, had visited Samford School on January 15 to attend the result distribution for his young son.
Sudden Collapse at School
According to eyewitnesses, Bordoloi had just received his son’s report card when he suddenly collapsed near the school’s exit. Teachers, staff, and parents rushed to help him immediately and called for medical assistance. He was taken to Jorhat Medical College and Hospital, but doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
The incident has left students, teachers, and fellow parents deeply shaken. Security footage from the school, which has circulated online, shows the sudden nature of the collapse, intensifying the shock among the local community.
