Raga News Zone | Legal Desk

The Bombay High Court has indicated that activist Gautam Navlakha is not a flight risk and is likely to allow him to stay in Delhi while legal proceedings in the Elgar Parishad case continue.

During the hearing, the court observed that Navlakha has cooperated with the investigation and has strong roots in the country. His plea sought permission to reside in Delhi instead of Mumbai, citing health issues and personal circumstances.

The High Court’s observation comes as a relief for Navlakha, who is currently out on bail. A final order on the matter is expected soon, subject to conditions set by the court to ensure compliance with the legal process.

The case continues to remain under judicial consideration, with further hearings scheduled.
